Mary Virginia Whitacre, 77, of St. Clairsville formerly of Colerain, died Tuesday September 1, 2015 at Belmont Manor Nursing Home St. Clairsville. She was born December 28, 1937 in Glen Dale WV, a daughter of the late Ottis and Grace Coulter. She was the owner of the former Panther Lounge in Loydsville, and the former Wagon Wheel Restaurant in St. Clairsville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John F. Whitacre Sr. a son Wayne L. Coulter, and a daughter Lisa A. Kiper. Mary is survived by her children Marcia (Gary) Beck of Wheeling, John (Kathy) Whitacre of Morristown, Ronny (Crystal) Whitacre of Blaine, and Joe Whitacre of Adena, two sisters Judy (Rich) Kerwood of Michigan, and JoAnn (Mickey) Thompson of Akron, nineteen grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Friday September 4, 2015 from 10am till time of service at 12 noon with Rev.
