Matilda "Tillie" Montenery 92 of Leasburg NC, formerly of Dillonvale died October 25, 2012 after a three year battle with Alzheimer's at Roxboro Nursing Health and Rehab. Center Roxboro NC. She was born March 14, 1920 in Dillonvale, a daughter of the late Charles Karl and Bessie (Slopakova ) Najdl. She previously moved from Ohio to North Carolina where she lived briefly with her brother Charles Nidle and eight years with her nephew Jeffery Nidle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Montenery, two sisters Bessie, and Martha, five brothers Loudie, Edward, James, Jerry, and Charles. There will be no calling hours and the funeral service will be private, interment will be next to her husband Paul at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
