Matthew C. "Matt" Myers, 48, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at home. He was born Oct. 22, 1962 in Des Moines, Iowa a son of the late Richard G. Myers, Sr. and Josephine A. "JoAnn" (Coss) Myers. Matt is a truck driver for Slay Transportation of Sardis, OH, and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Martins Ferry and Teamsters Local #697. He also was an avid golfer. Surviving are his wife Kimberly A. "Kim" (Ernes) Myers, two sons Zachary D. Myers and his fiancé Christina Parker and Richard M. Myers both of Martins Ferry, a brother Richard "George" (Raquel) Myers, Jr. of Wilcox, AZ and a sister Dianna "DeeDee" Bender and her fiancé Jerry Webb of Moundsville, WV. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, May 20, 2011 at 10:00 am with Rev.
