(Kirkpatrick) Kalonick
December 18, 1940 – October 27, 2018
Maud Rachel Kalonick, 77, of Adena, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Wheeling Medical Center. She was born on December 18, 1940 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Lee Glen and Marjorie (Carter) Kirkpatrick. Maud was raised in Dillonvale and had many fond memories of living there. She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and retired in 2008 from Martins Ferry Hospital after 43 years of service.
Maud is survived by her four children, Patricia (Alan) Dailey, John A. (Sandy) Kalonick IV, Michael (Jennifer) Kalonick and Daniel Kalonick and 3 grandchildren, Alison Dailey, Averie and Caine Kalonick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years whom she married on October 28, 1961, John Andrew Kalonick III in 2010; a brother, Lee (Terry) Kirkpatrick and an infant sister, Glenda Kirkpatrick.
Friends may call Friday, November 2, from 4-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, a vigil service will be held Friday in the funeral home at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, at 11 am in St. Casimir Catholic Church, 221 Hanna Ave, Adena, with Msgr. John Kolesar officiating. Burial will follow in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery, Adena.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bishop Michael J. Bransfield Continuous Care Center, 236 Branfield Place, Wheeling, WV 26003 or St. Casimir Catholic Church, 221 Hanna Ave, Adena, OH 43901 in her memory.
