Maureen Flowers, 82 of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in East Ohio Regional Hospital.  She was born on October 24, 1938 in Bellaire a daughter of the late Thomas and Kathryn (Metzger) McCreary.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and also the Catholic Women's Club.  Maureen enjoyed raising roses and mums.  She also ran the Bellaire City Pool for 13 summers.

Maureen is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lawrence Flowers; 3 sons, Tom (Suzanne Bender) Flowers, Lawrence Flowers and Charles Flowers; a daughter, Mary Edith Flowers; grandchildren, Joshua, Jacquline, Thomas and Cheyenne Flowers and Austin Uhl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Russell McCreary and 2 sisters, Eleanor Gramer and Kathleen Ivkovich.

Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 am in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father John Mucha officiating.  Burial will follow in Belmont Memorial Park.
