Maurice P. Schiffman, 81, of Martins Ferry, OH died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at Heartland-Lansing Nursing Home, Bridgeport, OH. He was born Nov. 20, 1927 in Brilliant, OH a son of the late Isadore and Ella Schiffman. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jessie (Miller) Schiffman, a brother Marvin Schiffman, and a sister Arlene Vensel. Surviving are three daughters Debbie Garrison, and Lou Ann Kokovich, both of Martins Ferry, and Tess (John) Gray of Wheeling, WV, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
