Maxine J. Corder, 84, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania passed away Wednesday, January 2012 at her home. She was born June 15, 1927 in Somerton, Ohio, daughter of the late Grover Phillips and Ruth Perkins Phillips. Maxine was a graduate of Bethesda High School, a homemaker, and a member of Zion's Lutheran Church of Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Corder, Jr.; brothers, Earl, Wayne, and Robert Phillips; and sisters, Helen Martin, Olive Wells, and Nellie Moore. Maxine is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lynn Corder; sister, Shirley Laughman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call, Saturday 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Homes, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Reverend Tom Detling will be officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
