Melody Lynn Hickenbottom, 64, of Holloway, Ohio, died February 11, 2016 at her home. She was born March 27, 1951 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late William Petracca and Beatrice Kirkpatrick Wilson. Melody was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Flushing Garden Club, St. Paul's Catholic Church, and Flushing Christian Church. She enjoyed playing the piano and gardening. Melody graduated from Ohio University Eastern Campus with majors in English and History. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronald Eugene Hickenbottom; daughters, Heather (Gibby) Peters and Jennifer (Shane) Cochran all of Holloway, Ohio; grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, Courtney, Rusty, Gage; and five great-grandchildren. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Monday from 11 a.m., until the time of service, beginning at 1 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.
