Merrill R. Conard, 64, of Barnesville, Ohio, died September 2, 2011. Merrill retired from the Ohio Operating Engineers, after 41 years of service. He is preceded in death by one son, Donnie Wayne Conard; parents, Merrill F. and Naomi Conard; sister, Helen Conard Durben; and brother, Carroll Conard. He leaves behind two daughters, Darla Michael of Des Moines, Iowa and Debra Didszun of Los Angeles, California; three grandchildren; one sister, Wanda Schleinz of Yuma, Arizona; and one brother, Gail Conard of Mt. St. Helens, Montana. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2011, with visitation two hours before, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
