Michael Lee Finney

At the age of 62 years young, on Tuesday, June 17, 2026, Michael Lee Finney, of Boardman, OH, passed away after a brief illness. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, on August 9, 1963, to Herbert Harold and Bonnie Jean (Meigh) Finney.

Michael is survived by is partner of forty-two years, Terry A. Cyphers, of Boardman; his loving springer spaniel, Sadie; sisters, Tammy (Mike) Kunik, Debbie (George) Kubic; nieces Lindy (Patrick) McCarthy, Shawna (Jerome) Jones, Lacee (Todd Reasbeck) Kunik; grandnieces, Kayana Jones, Anastasia Jones; grandnephew, Legend Jones; aunt, Sandy (Chris) Imboden and uncle Richard Meigh

Michael was always a hard worker. As a boy, he delivered the local newspaper; as a teen, he worked at Wendy's where he earned enough money to buy his first car, an AMC Spirit, which he absolutely loved. After graduation from Martins Ferry High School in 1981, Mike was employed as a draftsman for Picoma until its closure in 1982. At that time, Mike entered the inventory business where he met Terry. Shortly after, Terry and Michael moved to Boardman, OH, and in 1984 they formed USA Inventory Specialist. For the next forty-two years, they traveled the country, visited places, saw things, and met people that they never would have without their partnership. It was an incredible adventure!

Besides his parents and grandparents, Michael was preceded in death by his loving pets Dandi and Cady.

"Mike, I never would have or could have without you. It was quite a ride."

Thank you, Mike!
