Michael William Pappas, 66 of Slippery Rock PA passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 13, 1956, the son of the late William and Joanne (Kavalieros) Pappas.

He was retired as an Interventional Oncology Proctor for the BTG Industries, a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life-Giving Foundation in Martins Ferry, and the Elks Club of Cranberry PA.

Michael loved life and laughing, he was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed the game of golf. His grandchildren brought much joy and love to his life as well as all his dogs.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Sharon (Baretincic) Pappas of Slippery Rock, PA, son; Michael Pappas and his wife Suzanne Weller of Denver, CO, grandchildren; John and Sophia Pappas and Brannigan Weller, brother; George W. Pappas of Houston, TX, a niece; Nicole Caplinger and a nephew; Chris Pappas.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, with the Trisagion Service at 7pm and Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life-Giving Foundation, 314 N. Fifth St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935 at 11am with Fr. Constantine Makrinos  officiating. Burial will follow at Powhatan Cemetery, 54450 Powhatan-Shadyside Rd., Powhatan Point, OH 43942.
