Michael G. Paradise, 82, of Holiday, FL, formerly of Cleveland and Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Nov. 12, 2011 at Peninsula Care Rehab Facility, Tarpon Spring, Fl. He was born Feb. 5, 1929 in Lipsi, Greece a son of the late George and Katherine (Koumoudouros) Paradise. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life Giving Fountain, Martins Ferry, OH. He also attended St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, FL. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Louise M. (Koumoudouros) Paradise, two brothers Iacovos, and Vasilios Paradise, three sisters Theologia Makris, Irene Kavouras, and Pantelia Melianos. Surviving are five brothers John, Alexander, Nikitas, Christodolos, and Emmanuel Paradise, two sisters Evdokaki Ipsilandi, and Despina Hira and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life Giving Fountain with Rev. Menelaos Papageorgiou officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
