Michael D. Crummitt, Sr. Michael D. "Ted" Crummitt, Sr. 66, of Indiana St., Martins Ferry, OH died Fri. Mar. 22, 2002 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Jan. 2, 1936 in Wheeling, WV a son of the late Charles "Sid' and Laura Adamson Crummitt. He was president of Crummitt & Son Vault Company, Martins Ferry, a member of the Elks Lodge # 895, Martins Ferry and the Elks Bowling League for 40 years. Surviving are his wife Rebecca Burt Crummitt, a son Michael D. Crummitt, Jr. and his wife Sherry and three grandchildren Erin, Timothy and Richard Crummitt all of Martins Ferry. Friends will be received Sun. 7-9 PM and Mon. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tues. at 2:00 PM with Pastor William Ridenhour officiating. Burial follows in the Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Martins Ferry Elks # 895 will conduct services Mon. at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
