Obituary

Michael Rudolph Voleck, 69, of St. Clairsville, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, October 8, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 27, 1953, in Bellaire, a son of the late Anthony and Agnes (Sadosky) Voleck. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and served his country in the U.S. Air Force, during the Vietnam War. Mike retired after over 47 years with various mining companies in the area, where he served as a Maintenance Supervisor. Mike also enjoyed golf, but his biggest joy was spending time with family and friends and "bumming around" with his son.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jean Ann (Mattone) Voleck; son, Evan Voleck; sister, Mary Ann (James) Anderson; his triplet brothers, John (Virginia) Voleck and Andy (Vickie) Voleck; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Antionette Putsock; and a brother, Anthony "Junior" Voleck.

Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with a vigil service at 7:30 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 am in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 68210 Neola Ave, Bridgeport, celebrated by Father John Mucha.
