Miguelina A. Lucas, 84, of Astoria Place in Barnesville, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Born January 7, 1933 in Farjardo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Modest Rosa. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse in Puerto Rico. She worked as a nurse's aide serving at nursing homes in Flushing and Cadiz, as well as at Harrison Community Hospital. Miguelina was a very good cook, enjoyed playing Rummy 500, and crocheting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Lucas; one sister; two brothers; and one grandson. Miguelina is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Neal) Mayberry of Belmont, Ohio, Nancy and Kathy Lucas both of Flushing, Ohio, Marilyn (Bill) Gallagher of Newark, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Saturday from 11 a.m., until the time of service beginning at 1 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.
