Mike Sudvary Jr. 93 of Rayland died Friday December 16, 2011 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. He was born July 20, 1918 in Triadelphia WV, a son of the late Mike Sr. and Sophie (Plesa) Sudvary. He was a retired employee of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Yorkville, a veteran of WWII in the US Army, a life member of the VFW #4811 Yorkville, and the DAV of Bellaire, he was also a Catholic by faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Susan Snyder in 1999, three brothers John, Andy, and Charles Sudvary. Mike is survived by his loving wife Annabelle (Ogden) Sudvary, a son Michael (Barbara) Sudvary, a daughter Brenda Sudvary both of Rayland, a sister Mary Kendjorsky of Tiltonsville, five grandchildren Melissa Hague of South Carolina, Jeremy Snyder of Alabama, Chad Sudvary of Rayland, Coy (Jessica) Sudvary of Steubenville, and Trevor Sudvary of Rayland, six great grandchildren. Friends may call Monday December 19, 2011 from 2-7 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home 102 Main St. Tiltonsville. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Jim Monogudis officiating, interment in Upland Cemetery Yorkville.
