Timko Michael D. "Kubba" 68, of St. Clairsville formerly of Martins Ferry and Barton, died Saturday December 29, 2012 at Heartland Manor of Bridgeport. He was born June 12, 1944 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Michael S. and Catherine (Kutchmyer) Timko. He was a retired employee of the Yorkville Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, a US Army Veteran in Vietnam, a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church Barton, the American Legion #38 Martins Ferry, he was a life time member of Barnesville VFW Post #2792, and the Barton Fire Department. Mike is survived by his niece Andrea (Tim) Criswell of Barton, and a nephew Zachary (Heidi) Ross of St. Clairsville who were also his godchildren, a niece Tori Jackson and nephew Ty Timko both of St. Clairsville, a brother John S. "Mugga" Timko of Barton, sisters Anna K. Timko and Barb (Jeff) Ross both of Barton, and Jean (Ralph) Kyanko of Vermilion, Ohio, two great nieces Madison Criswell, and Mia Ross, a great nephew Shane Jackson, and a special friend Carolyn Gereg. According to Mike's wishes there will be no visitation. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday January 2, 2013 at 11 am at St. Nicholas Cemetery Barton with Fr. Michael Kabel officiating. Full Military Services will be held by the Honor Guard of the Belmont County VFW. Memorial contributions may be made in Mike's honor to Andrea Criswell at PO Box 641 Barton, Ohio 43905.
