Mildred V. Cochran Mildred V. Scheehle Cochran, 94, of Deep Run Rd, Martins Ferry, OH died Fri., July 18, 2003 at home. She was born on Jan. 31, 1909 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Sherman and Pearle Irwin Scheehle. Mildred and her husband worked the family farm together for 58 yrs. She was a devoted wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother. Mildred was the oldest living member of Scotch Ridge Presbyterian Church where she joined in April 6, 1924 and a member of Emerson Grange. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband J. Clyde Cochran, a daughter Jean Julian, a brother Donald Scheehle. Surviving are two daughters Evelyn Cochran of Martins Ferry and Mildred Hyett and her husband John of Barnesville, two brothers Kenneth Scheehle and his wife Manila of Mt. Pleasant and Ray Scheehle and his wife Sophia of Pleasant Grove, three grandchildren Richard Julian of Mt. Pleasant, Scott Julian of Martins Ferry and Vickie Moore of Rayland and six great grandchildren. Friends will be received Mon. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held on Tues, Jul. 22, 2003 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Joseph C. Ellis. Burial follows in Scotch Ridge Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
