Mildred M. Murad, 89, of Bridgeport, OH, passed away April 16, 2017 at Liza's Place. She was born January 9, 1928 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Henry) Hickman. She was retired from the Match Factory in Wheeling and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bridgeport. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Murad, in 2010; an infant daughter, Pam; and 13 siblings. She is survived by her children; Phillip (Karel) Murad of Bridgeport, Thomas (Mary Ann) Murad of Wheeling, Mary Jo Hummel of Pittsburgh, Vickie (Ed) Shutler of Colerain; grandchildren, Krista (Ricky) Zambito, Christopher (Tracey) Murad, Angela (Brian) Barnett, Alicyn (John) Shoplak, Nicole (Matt) Love, Zac (Kara) Shutler, Josh (Shay) Shutler, Ben (Brooke) Shutler; twelve great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 4pm-8pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Thursday at 10am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bridgeport with Father John Mucha serving as celebrant.
