Minister Kenneth L. Hill, 75, of Hamlet, NC died Friday, Apr, 9, 2010 at Sandhills Regional Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1934 in Middleport, OH a son of the late Harry and Lucy (Badgley) Hill. He was the minister of Hamlet Church of Christ for 38 years and retired from the LOF plant in Laurinburg, NC. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife Marie (Milbert) Hill of Halmet, NC, three sons J. David Hill of Hamlet, NC, Timothy and Jonathan Hill both of Atlanta, GA, two grandson Christopher D. Hill of Wilmington, NC and Cody James Hill of AZ, one sister Beulah Reed of Columbus, OH and three brothers Harry and Ralph Hill both of Columbus, OH, and Raymond Hill of ME. Friends will be received Wednesday, Apr. 14, 2010 from 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH with James McLoud, Jr. officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
