Minnia Estella "Stella" (Kelley) Minder, 77 of Hartman Manor, Martins Ferry, formerly of Crawford St., Martins Ferry died Sat., Dec. 23, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born May 6, 1929 in Glenns Run, Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Prosper Kelley, Sr. and Minnia Estella (Fowler) Kelley. She was a cook for the Kiwanis Club, she also worked for the Recreation Department of Martins Ferry, Martins Ferry Football Training Table, baked pies for the former Cheryls Restaurant, Bridgeport, OH, and also a former employee of the Martins Ferry City Auditors Department. Stella was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry and the best mother, grandma and G.G. in the world. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Stanley Minder, two sons Jimmy P. and Joseph E. Minder, two brothers Prosper Kelley, Jr. and James Kelley, three sisters Dorothy Hiney, Adeline Dolak, and Patty Johnson and a grandchild Mindi Sue Minder. Surviving are her children Stanley E. (Sharon) Minder of Martins Ferry, Patricia (Chuck) Eddy of Martins Ferry, Pamela S. (Greg) Meeker of Rayland, OH, Cheryl (John) Jones of Martins Ferry, Clayton A. (Julie) Minder of Wickliffe, OH, Mike J. Minder of Martins Ferry, and Rachelle L. Mozena and her partner Vicki Onus of Burlington, NC, a brother Pete Kelley of Martins Ferry, twenty grandchildren Lisa (Scott) Delbrugge, Terri (Ken) Coleman, Rhonda (Todd) Michaels, Jodi (Pat) Staley, Bryan (Dana) Minder, Chuck (Karen) Eddy, P.J. Eddy and partner Brianne Stillion, Amy (Eric) Tomolonis, Minnia Kittle, Bobby Kittel, Michael (Heather) Jones, Linda (Shane) Wills, Kelley (Brian) Helal, Laura Minder, Jessie Minder, Kayla (Fiancee Ben Burke) Minder, Amanda "Buffy" (Friend Tim Carleton) Minder, Danielle Minder, Chris Minder, and Nicole Onus, and twenty-eight great grandchildren Angie, Sarah and Josh Delbrugge, Denise, Emily, Joey and Ben Coleman, Delcie and Owen Michaels, Jacob, Kyle and Anna Staley, Michael and Allyson Minder, Coco and Chewy Eddy, Morgan and Tate Eddy, Adelle Stillion, Cruz and Jude Burns, Ashley and Brad Tomolonis, Isaac and Valerie Jones, Trevor and Connor Wills and on the way Devin Michael Helal, and a special daughter-in-law Bernadette Minder. Stella was a Mom and Grandma to every friend her children and grandchildren ever had. Friends will be received Tues 5-9 PM and Wed., 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thur., at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Wake services will be held Tues. at 8:00 PM and Rosary devotions will be recited Wed. at 3:00 PM both at the funeral home.
