Obituary

Mitchell "Mitch" Ogresovich, 86, of N. Eighth St., Martins Ferry, OH died Wed., May 16, 2007 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born Oct. 20, 1920 in Florence, OH a son of the late Mele and Stana (Birkic) Ogresovich. He was a retired laborer for Local #809, Steubenville, OH. Mitchell was a Serbian Orthodox by faith, a life member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion Post #38 of Martins Ferry, and a veteran of the U.S. Army WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Brunette J. (Rosa) Ogresovich, a brother Mele Ogresovich, five step-brothers Roy, Mike, Duke, George, and Sam Mamula, two sisters Pauline and Mildred Ogresovich, two step- sisters Helen Schoffield and Rose Kovalchik. Surviving are his daughter Michelle (Mark) Feldmeier of Paden City, WV, three step-brothers Charles Mamula of Detroit, MI, Eli Mamula of Richmond, OH, and Nick Mamula of Carnegie, PA, a step-sister Anna Horsefield of Yucca Valley, CA, and two grandsons Jared and Eric Feldmeier. Friends will be received Friday, 3-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 1:30 PM with Rev. F. Rade Merick officiating. Entombment follows in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, Martins Ferry. Pomen Service will be held Friday at 4 PM at the funeral home.
