Obituary

Mitchell M. "Pinky" Uscio 89, of Dillonvale, died Wednesday January 25, 2017 at his home. He was born October 1, 1927 in Harperville, Ohio, a son of the late Adam and Jadwiga (Warner) Uscio. He was an employee of Consolidated Coal Corp. Franklin Mine retiring in 1985. He was an Army Veteran, a member of the Dillonvale Eagles and Fire Dept. for many years. Mitchell loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved to tend to his garden. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Adam, Henry, and Chester Uscio, his sisters Laura Hoke, and Stella Rzepka. Mitchell is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Eleanora (Pratt) Uscio, his children Jo Ann (Judy) Uscio, Michael (Linda) Uscio, Scott (Gina) Uscio, Paul (Shannon) Uscio, Cheryl Hunter, Brian (Dina) Uscio, and Karen (Jeff) Uscio all of Dillonvale, a sister Jessie Mikula of Bedford, Ohio, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a great great grandson. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 154 Second Street Dillonvale on Friday January 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am with Rev.
