Mollie F. Covey, 81, of Blaine, OH, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, OH. She was born February 2, 1926 in Bay St. Louis, MS, daughter of the late Edward A. and Marie E. Byais Fayard. Mollie was a member of the Eastern Star in Bridgeport. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E. Covey; two brothers, Van Meter and Huey Fayard; three sisters, Doris Kingston, Geraldine Hebert and Barbara Kingston. Surviving are three sons, Dr. Kenneth E. Covey and his wife Paula of Wooster, OH, Steven P. Covey of Blaine, and Edward A. Covey and his wife Shelly of Parkerford, PA; one daughter, Susan J. Brown of Martins Ferry, a brother, Mickey Fayard and his wife Jeanette of Bay St. Louis, MS; nine grandchildren, Chad R. Brown and his wife Amanda, Jessica Brown, David J. Covey and his wife Melissa, Jay D. Covey, Kelly A. Covey and her husband Kevin Ungerer, Joshua, Nick, Jacob and Alyssa Covey; one great granddaughter, Morgan Rene Covey. Visitation will be on Thursday, 5-8 p.m. and Friday from noon until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road, Brookside with Reverend James Hoff, officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
