Mona Darlene Smith, 65, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Friday, September 9, 2016, at Barnesville Hospital. She was born March 22, 1951 in Jerusalem, Ohio to Lewis and Grace (Hayes) Claus. In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Greenlee; granddaughter, Melissa Greenlee; and sister, Myra Morris. She is survived by her granddaughter, Jessica Greenlee of Barnesville, Ohio; sister, Linda (Floyd) Crawford of Pickerington, Ohio; brother-in-law, Byron Morris of Akron, Ohio; three nieces; and one nephew. Darlene, as she was known to all, worked as a cashier for StarFire Gas Station, where she was known and loved by many. Her personality was one to be admired.
