Monte G. Ryan, 63, of Martins Ferry, OH died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV. He was born Dec. 13, 1949 in Martins Ferry a son of Wanda L. (Kinnan) Ryan and the late Clarence Ryan. He was retired from the City of Martins Ferry Water Department after 35 years of service. Monte was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Surviving in addition to his mother of Martins Ferry are his wife Frances R. (Murrin) Ryan, a son Doug W. Ryan of Benwood, WV, a daughter Kari Ann Ryan of Martins Ferry, a brother Gene L. (Karen) Ryan of Wheeling, WV, five sisters; Lucky (Brian) Carroll of Powhatan, OH, Connie (Jim) Stefan of Martins Ferry, Bonnie (Herb) Klotz of St. Clairsville, OH, Maretta Kindberg of Martins Ferry, and Angela Parker of Columbus, OH, three grandchildren; Devin Ryan, Andrew and Sarah Piccin, and a great granddaughter.
