Morningstar Shunk

Morningstar Shunk, 66 of Bellaire passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, at WVU Medicine/Wheeling Hospital. She was born on December 16, 1959, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late, George and Mildred (Price) Duffey, Sr.

Morningstar was Christian by faith, her many activities included baking, drawing and was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns. She was a devoted homemaker with grace and dedication, tirelessly nurturing her family with kindness and love.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Shunk and her brother, Charles Duffey.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Dustin and his wife Tari Shunk, grandchildren; Cheylynn, Dustin, Levi, and Hunter Shunk; and her brother, George (Evelyn) Duffey, Jr.

In keeping with her wishes there will not be any services at this time. Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport is assisting the family.
