Obituary

Muriel L. (Brown) Coleman, 79, of Martins Ferry, OH died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born July 6, 1937 in Powhatan Point, OH a daughter of the late Odell Brown and Dolly (Hess) Brown Goudy.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, Friend "Bus" Goudy, her previous husband, Charles Peal, son Robert D. Marling and a brother, Marvin Brown.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Richard L. Coleman, children; Bill (Kim) Marling of Shadyside, OH, Jeff (Renee) Peal of Taylorsville, NC and
Lisa (Thom) Wood of Carrollton, VA, brothers; Donald Brown of Powhatan and Robert Brown of Petaluma, CA, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, 306 Locust St., Martins Ferry, OH.
Memorial contribution may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Central Ohio Chapter, 2215 Citygate Drive, Suite A, Columbus, OH 43219.
