Myron Jay Bohmer 76, of Belmont formerly of Bridgeport and Steubenville died Tuesday July 18, 2017 at Barnesville Hospital. He was born March 30, 1941 in Mew Matamoras WV, a son of the late Earl and Ruby (Shoulders) Bohmer.

He was a retired employee of the former Annexter Cable Co. Bellaire, a Christian, and a former fireman and EMT with the Wolfhurst Volunteer Fire Dept. Myron was also an avid fisherman.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife June Louise (Bunnell) Bohmer, and his second wife Shirley Lewis. Myron was the last of 5 siblings.

Myron is survived by his son Randy (Antoinette) Bohmer of Fort Belvoit, VA.

Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Tuesday July 25, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held at 7 pm with Pastor Jack Palmer officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
