Nancy Mae Griffith 67 of Jacksonville, FL formally of Rayland died Wednesday January 11, 2012 at Morris Center for Caring Hospice in Jacksonville. She was born October 31, 1944 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late William and Rosa (Botts) Brown. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Martins Ferry and a housewife. In addition to parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Lonnie N. Griffith Sr. in 1989, brothers Richard "Peach", Carl Wesley, and Alexander Brown. Nancy is survived by children Rosa (Bryan) Forbes of Bellbrook, Ohio, Lonnie (Bobbie Jo) Griffith of San Angelo TX., Tammy (Roger) Johnson, Richard Griffith, Christine (Paul) Howard, all of Jacksonville, FL., a brother William "Bill" (Paula) Brown of Rayland, two sisters; Florence (Tom) Huntsman of Bunnell FL., and Shirley Canady of Port Orchard, Washington, thirteen grandchildren, and several nieces an nephews. Friend will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Sunday January 15, 2012 from 12 till 3 and 6-8 pm where services will be held on Monday at 10 am at the 1st Christian Church 710 South Zane Hwy Martins Ferry with Minister Brad Johnston Officiating, interment in Hopewell Cemetery Rayland.
