Nancy L. (Redinger) Dorsey, 67, of S. Tenth St., Martins Ferry, OH died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at home. She was born July 12, 1937 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Herschel and Laura (Armstrong) Redinger. She retired from the Martins Ferry City School district after 25 years of teaching. Nancy was a graduate of Ohio University and the University of Dayton. She was a long time member of the First U. Methodist Church of Martins Ferry and a member of the Belmont County Retired Teachers Assoc. Surviving are her husband R. William "Bill" Dorsey, a son Michael D. (Cris) Dorsey of Powell, OH, a daughter Diane Dorsey Deane of Columbus, OH, three brothers Robert L. (Sally) Redinger of Shorewood, IL, Howard S. Redinger of Prospect, IL, and David E. (Colleen) Redinger of Parkersburg, WV, a sister Margaret Boord of Wheeling, WV, four grandchildren Taylor, Caley, Cole, and Reese Dorsey, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, Tuesday, April 12, 2005, from noon until time of services at 2:00 PM with Rev. Harry F. Pettini officiating.
