Nancy S. Turvey, 66, of St. Clairsville, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born March 7, 1954 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Elmer W. and Barbara Jean (Kucera) Meadows.

Nancy was a true Purple Rider football enthusiast. She was also an avid fan of the Penn State Nittany Lions and a staunch supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Nancy will be remembered for her most generous spirit and gracious smile. Nancy was very proud to have worked for 42 years in the Dietary Dept. at East Ohio Regional Hospital. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her half-brothers; Alan G. and Elmer L. Turvey and nephew Ron Turvey.

Surviving are her brother, Randy L. Turvey (H.L. Wright) of Powell, OH, sister-in-law, Barb (Rempke) Turvey, niece, Jennifer Turvey and great niece, Mara Turvey all of Warren, OH. Nancy will be missed by her many good friends and the many lives she touched over the years.

A private Funeral Service will be held at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH with Rev. William O. Webster officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Martins Ferry City Schools, Athletic Department, 5000 Ayers Limestone Rd., Martins Ferry or Grace Presbyterian Church, 7 North Fourth Street, Martins Ferry.
