Nellie J. Thompson White 88 of St. Clairsville formerly of Kirkwood Heights Bridgeport, died Wednesday May 18, 2011 at Park Health Center St. Clairsville. She was born February 20, 1923 in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Nellie J. Strawser Bowers. She was a member of the Church of God in Brookside. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Harry C. Thompson, a son Harry R. Thompson, and a daughter Nancy J. Thompson, a sister Bertha McKnight, and two brothers Elmer and Isaac Thomas. Nellie is survived by her second husband Wilbur White of Wheeling, a son Leslie C. (Betty) Thompson of Virginia, two sisters Betty (Frank) Lanch of Bridgeport, Dolores (Paul) Kreiter of St. Clairsville, two grandchildren Gail McLain and Tracy Thompson, three great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Saturday May 21, 2011 from 12 noon till time of service at 2 pm with Rev.
