Nellie Louise Withrow, 84, of Belmont, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born January 24, 1928 in Loomis, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph C. Shirbish and Edna V. Arnett Shirbish. Nellie was an Armature Balancer for March Electric and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Withrow; son, Randal Piegan; and daughter, Robin Wallace. Nellie is survived by daughters, Susan J. Shumaker and Stephanie D. (Jim) Coen, both of Belmont, Ohio; sons, Richard A. (Janet) Piegan of Belmont, Ohio and Stephen W. (Kelly) Piegan, Jr. of Loomis, Ohio; sisters, Elizabeth (Jim) Ross of Brownstown, Indiana, Edna (Bernie) Thompson of Loomis, Ohio, Nancy (Joe) Bay of Dresden, Ohio, and Ann (Vic) Marshall of Bridgeport, Ohio; brother, Richard Shirbish of Akron, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be conducted, Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the convenience of the family.
