NICHOLAS SABO, 97, of Piney Fork, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at his home. He was born November 13, 1910 in Parlett, Ohio, the son of the late Steven Sabo, Sr. and Mary (Karvas) Sabo. Nicholas was Catholic by faith and retired from Pittsburgh Consolidated Coal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary (Sacker) Sabo; four brothers Frank, Lewis, Steve and Joseph Sabo; and three sisters Velma Staymate, Mary Algrain and Elizabeth Molnar. Nicholas is survived by a son James Sabo and his wife Jeannette of Avon, IN; three grandchildren Justina, Nicholas and Matthew Sabo; as well as a great granddaughter. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 am with Monsignor John Kolesar officiating. Interment will follow at Northern Cemetery, Smithfield, Ohio.
