Nina M. Bauknecht, 72, of Hillcrest Manor, Lewisville, OH, formerly of Colerain Pike, Martins Ferry, OH died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Woodsfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield, OH. She was born Sept. 25, 1935 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late John and Mary A. (Davis) Bauknecht. Nina retired as a custodian with Steeple Valley School of the Martins Ferry City School District. Her family included eight brothers Raymond, Ernest, Kenneth, Alfred, James, Herbert, Russell, and Donald Bauknecht. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH, Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 10 am until time of services at 12 noon with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating.
