Nora Marie Poff, 84, of Belmont, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Sienna Pointe Nursing and Rehab. She was born April 19, 1928 in Lafferty, Ohio, daughter of the late William D. Jorden and Theresa I. Grassi Jorden. She worked as a Nurse's Aide for 28 years at Bell Nursing Home and was a member of the First Christian Church of Morristown. Nora was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Poff; daughter-in-law, Eli Poff; and brother-in-law, John Manukin. She is survived by her son, Laird H. Poff, Lillington, North Carolina; sisters, Jane Manukin and Mary (Robert) Porter, all of Belmont, Ohio, and Diane (Buzz) Blizzard of Woodbridge, Virginia; granddaughter, Nicole M. Poff, of Miami, Florida; nephews, Billy Hamilton, John (Lynda) Frew, and Mike Blizzard; niece, Kimberly (Brian) Blizzad-Coyle; and Precious, her little poodle companion. Friends may visit, Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 204 Main Street, Morristown, Ohio. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
