Norma M. (Dennis) Leatherman, 80, of Rayland, OH died Oct. 9, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born July 21, 1932 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late Claude and Emma (Billingsley) Dennis. She was retired from the Buckeye Local School District. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John L. Leatherman, Jr. Surviving are three sons Daniel (Marcy) Leatherman of Tahlequah OK, Barry Leatherman of El Paso TX, and David Leatherman of Rayland, OH, a daughter Cinda Kropka of Bucyrus, OH, a brother Claude "Buddy" (Patricia) Dennis of MI, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
