Norma E. (Heldeffer) Sprouse Evans, 83, of Colerain, OH, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Wed., Dec. 1, 2010 surrounded by her family who loved her very much. She was born April 1, 1927 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Schwanenberger) Heldeffer. She was retired from the former Security National Bank & Trust Company, Wheeling, WV. Norma was a member of the Colerain Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard A. "Tete" Evans, two sisters Ruth Henke and Clara Jean Mikels. She will be missed by her son John (Connie) Sprouse of Cambridge, OH, her daughter Pamela (Bob) Love of Hartville, OH, three grandchildren Katie Jo Sprouse, Michael (Jordan) Love, and Joshua Love, a great granddaughter Addison Love, several nieces and nephews, and her many friends at the Colerain Senior Center. Friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Friday 6-8 pm, and Saturday Dec. 4, 2010 from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm with Pastor Byron McElroy officiating.
