NORMA JENEWEIN CARPENTER Norma E. Jenewein Carpenter, 89, of Powhatan Point, Ohio, died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Barnesville Hospital.  Born in Clarington, Ohio on December 25, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Boughner and Mary Jan Vaness Boughner. Her caring nature led her to become a nurse's aide, caring for those who needed a loving touch at Starr Nursing Home.  Norma treasured her family, enjoyed quilting, and was an awesome baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Forrest Jenewein; sisters, Doris Smith, Amelia Lindenmeyer, Nora Dietz; brothers, Harold and Harley Boughner; and grandson, Darren Leach. Norma is survived by her husband, Wayne Carpenter of Powhatan Point, Ohio; daughter, Sandy (Paul) Leach of Barnesville, Ohio; son, Wayne (Linda) Jenewein of Jerusalem, Ohio; grandchildren, Dwayne and Eric; great-grandchildren, Erica, Bailey, Vanessa, Brayden; great-great-grandchildren, Maddie, Brooklyn; sister, Delores Dickson of Powhatan Point, Ohio; step-daughter, Melody; step-sons, Don and Gregg; nine step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
