Norma M. (Kemo) Totterdale, 83, formerly of N. Eighth St., Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008 at Forest Hills Retirement Community, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born Aug. 29, 1924 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late Jack L. and Anna (Baldo) Kemo. Norma was the former owner of Totterdale Brothers Supply Co. and a member of the First United Methodist Church both of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband David W. Totterdale, Sr., a daughter Dr. Gwendolyn Totterdale, a sister Emily Seamon, and two brothers Jack G. and Louis C. Kemo. Surviving are two sons David (Darlene Ray) Totterdale, Jr. of Piedmont, OH and James (Donna) Totterdale of Martins Ferry, a daughter Jackie (Jack) Hammond of Huntington, WV, a sister Madelyn (William) Holbrook of Martins Ferry, nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and her dear friend Tom Kelly. Family and friends will be received at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH Sunday, 12-3 & 6-8 PM and Monday, Feb 11, 2008 from 10 am until time of services at 11:00 am with Rev. Van D. Fisher officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Memorial contributions may be made to the First U. Methodist Church, 307 Clay St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
