Norman Lee Finney, 63, of Tiltonsville, died Friday November 13, 2009 at Valley Hospice, Wheeling, WV. He was born October 10, 1946 in Martins Ferry, the son of Lee and Leona (Pontia) Finney. Norman was an Iron Worker, and member of the V.F.W. in Yorkville, Dillonvale Eagles, Italian Club of Martins Ferry, and the Tiltonsville American Legion. Norman was preceded in death by his father, Lee Finney, a brother Joe Finney and a daughter, Jennifer Holquist. He is survived by his mother Leona (Pontia) Finney of New Mexico, his wife, Christine Finney of the home, three daughters, Sheila Wintermantel and her husband Matt of Wellsville, OH, Sherri Kohlar and her husband Andy of Millersport, OH, Sharon Creamer and her husband Donnie of Rayland, OH; four sisters, Eileen Coker and her husband Larry of New Mexico, Amy Culberston and her husband Kevin of Logan, OH, Linda Williams and her husband Larry of Zanesville, OH, Elaine Riggs and her husband Gene of Crooksville, OH; eight grandchildren, Sydnee, Sonny, and Sebastian Holquist, Trevor, Trisha and Travis Wintermantel, Devin and Cody Creamer; a special nephew Jeramiah Freeland and nephews Steve Edgehouse and his wife Melissa and Troy Edgehouse. Visitation will be on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 102 Main Street, Tiltonsville, and on Tuesday from 9 until time of service at 11 am. Pastor Dan Holt will officiate. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH where military services will be conducted by the Belmont County Council of the V.F.W.
