Norman D. Whealdon, 75, of Belmont, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011, at his home. He was born April 21, 1936 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, son of the late Cecil "Bus" Whealdon and Delta Boso Whealdon. Norman resided in Veto, Ohio prior to moving to the Belmont area. He was a handyman on farms, helping with horses. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Belpre, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by an infant son, David; and nephew, Steven Thompson. Norman is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Russell) Blake of Belmont; son, Mitchell (Theresa) Whealdon of Columbus; six grandchildren, Shania, Dakota, Kolton, Kaden, Ashley, and Alyssa; brothers, Bernard (Fran)Whealdon and Charley (Ruth) Whealdon both of Veto; sisters, Lucille (Etsel) Thompson, Patsy (Bill) Grimm also of Veto, Margaret (Stan) Shepherd of Hudson, Florida, and Janet Russell of Parkersburg, West Virginia; and the mother of his children, Evelyn Whealdon.
