Olga (Baldo) Carella, 93, formerly of Shadyside Care Center, Shadyside, OH and Wayne Hayes Towers of Martins Ferry, OH died Saturday, Mar. 24, 2007 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Jun. 15, 1913 in Rayland, OH a daughter of the late Jerome and Lucy (Franciscon) Baldo. She was a member of the Grace Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Carella, a son Joseph L. Carella, Jr., a brother Emery Baldo, and two sisters Anna Kemo and Emma Kemo. Surviving are a son Larry (Cember) Carella of Charlotte, NC, a daughter Patricia (William) Irwin of Shadyside, OH, four grandchildren Beverly (Billy) Haynes of Anniston, AL, Edward (Kristy) Risden of DePere, WI, Bryan (Allison) Carella of Chapel Hill, SC, and Beth (Jason) Prichard of Raleigh, NC, and three great grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tuesday, Mar. 27, 2007 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Shadyside Care Center Residence Activity Fund, 60583 Ste.
