Olive R. (Cox) Hall, 78, of N. 7th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Saturday, Mar. 21, 2009 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born Sept. 25, 1930 in Bellaire, OH. She retired as Regional Manager of the Ohio Dept. of Transportation. working with new highway right of way acquisitions. Olive was a member of the First U. Methodist Church, Martins Ferry. She was preceded in death by her mother Virginia (Minet) Wheeler, her husband Walter L. "Skip" Hall, two brothers Joe and Larry Cox, and two sisters Ann Walker and Evelyn Cox. Surviving are two daughters Evelyn V. Smith of Bellaire and Sharon (Don) Dunfee, Jr. of Martins Ferry, six grandchildren: Jim Hindman, Jeani Humpe, Ssgt. Greg Thomas, LaShawnda Fogle, Michelle Milhoan, and Christina Wendel, eleven great grandchildren, and her special friend George Shreve. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Wednesday, Mar. 25, 2009 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Van D.
