Obituary

Oliver C. ? Ollie? Kitzmiller 81, of Blaine, Ohio died Thursday March 25, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. He was born September 6, 1928 in Garrett County Md. A son of the late James C. and Ethel Mae (Paugh) Kitzmiller. Oliver was a Retired electrician for Consol Surface Mine, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church Wolfhurst, a Past Sachem and member of the Redman Club of Martins Ferry, the American Legion Flushing Post #366, and the Bridgeport Eagles #995. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army in Korea. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Harold and George Kitzmiller, five sisters Marie Malloney, Jessie Alice Sims, Mable Jordon, Gladys Burson, and Viva Claudia. Oliver is survived by his wife Marcella (Gregis) Kitzmiller, two sons James Kitzmiller (Brenda), and Greg Kitzmiller and his fiancAC.e Leigh Ann Lodi both of Blaine, two brothers Leroy Kitzmiller (Sandy) of Uniontown Ohio, and Willard Kitzmiller (Brenda) of Fresno Calf., three sisters Alberta Chinney (Rudy) of Flushing, Carmela Prato of Canton, and Rita DeFrancisco of Fl. two grandchildren Alison & Austin Kitzmiller. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Monday from 2-4 & 6-8, where wake services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 30, 2010 at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Wolfhurst with Rev. John Mucha as celebrant. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. Military Honors provided by the Belmont County Council of the American Legion.
