Orvilla R. Moreland Green, 85, of St. Clairsville, OH died, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital.She was a loving mother and homemaker.She was born September 25, 1929 in Bridgeport, OH to the late Orville and Henrietta Moreland.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Walter D. Green and her brother John Moreland.Orvilla is survived by three daughters Linda (David) Vaughan, Lansdowne, VA, Diane Green, St. Clairsville and Barbara (Victor) Freeman, Glen Burnie, MD; grandchildren Amy (Robert) Gage, Yorktown, VA and Donald (Christina) Vaughan, Burke, VA; great-grandchildren Sarah Gage, Audrey Gage, Emma Vaughan, and Charlie Vaughan; two sisters Betty Lou Trouten and Anna Mae Turek.The family wants to thank the staff at Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital for the compassionate care they provided our mother along with the students from Wheeling Park High School Health Occupations Science Technology Program.According to Orvilla's wishes there will be no visitation and private graveside services was held at the convenience of the family.Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
