Patricia A. (Lavy) Debeni Ward, 73, formerly of N. 9th St., Martins Ferry, OH died, Wed., Mar. 23, 2005 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Aug. 25, 1931 in East Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Hawkins) Lavy. She was formerly employed with Belco Crafts of St. Clairsville, OH and a member of the Wheeling United Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands John Debeni, Jim Cunningham, and George A. Ward, two brothers Clifford and Leo Lavy. Surviving are two daughters Frances Ann Debeni of Martins Ferry and Debbie (William) Mylan of Wheeling, four sisters Virginia, Katherine, Gale, and Betty, two grandchildren Rhonda and John Gessler both of Wheeling, and a great grandchild Matthew Reincher. Friends will be received Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Sat., Mar. 26, 2005 at 10:00 AM with Pastor David Forsythe officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry.
