Patricia Jean McBride Hickenbottom, 84, of Barnesville, passed away Sunday November 8, 2015 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born November 11, 1930 in Salem, West Virginia to Matthew and Gail McBride.
A loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma, Pat lived and enjoyed working on the family farm, alongside her husband and five children for 50 years. She was a faithful member of the Christian congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 31 years and had a wonderful hope of living forever on a paradise earth. She loved sharing her faith with others in the Christian Ministry work.
Patricia loved children and giving to those in need. She had a love for music and enjoyed playing instruments such as: the harmonica, steel guitar, and piano. Pat also enjoyed spending time in nature with the birds and flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Hickenbottom; son, Danny Hickenbottom; daughter-in-law, Darlene Hickenbottom; son-in-law, Joseph Corbett; brothers, Jim, John, Joe, Connie, Jerry, Paul, and Douglas McBride; and sisters, Margaret Anna McBride and Rosemary McBride Cox.
Patricia is survived by her children, Mary Katherine Corbett, Patricia Diane (Robert) McFadden, Harley Dennis Hickenbottom, Connie (Daniel) Moellendick, and daughter-in-law, Denise Hickenbottom; grandchildren, Douglass (Jenny) McFadden, Shannon McFadden, Stacey Blanton, Mary Rondell Violet, Brandon (Rachel) Hickenbottom, Nathanael (Jenny) Hickenbottom, Bailey (Bryan) Vandyne, Cassey (Aaron) Steele, Crissy (Jeremy) Anderson, Kayla Clark, Kylee (Darik) Elliott, Kory Moellendick; great-grandchildren, Vinnie, Dylan, Bethany (Brandon), Chelsey, Devin, Eden, Aven, Ensley, Klase, Sabrina, Sydney, Jude, Gideon; great-great-grandchildren, Audrionna and Bentley; brother, Eugene McBride, sisters, Betty Roby, Carolyn Ney, Rebecca Krichbaum; along with many special caregivers and her faithful companion, Lily.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service, beginning at 1 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Mr. Samuel Elliot of Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses officiating. Interment will follow at Southern Cemetery, Somerton, Ohio.

Service
The service for Patricia will be conducted, Wednesday at 1 p.m., at the funeral home. Mr. Samuel Elliot of Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses officiating.
Interment
Interment will follow at Southern Cemetery, Somerton, Ohio.
