MARX, Patricia Joann Beckner, 80, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed Tuesday August 27, 2013 at Valley Hospice South, Liza's Place, Wheeling, W.Va. She was born April 2, 1933, a daughter of the late George Preston Beckner and Lily Ellen Lewis Beckner. Patricia was a current employee of Macy's Department Store; a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church, St. Clairsville; founding regent of Zane's Trace Chapter, NSDAR; active in the Mary Reed Circle at Thoburn Church; and a member of the Evergreen Social Organization. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband John David Boso; her second husband John Marx; and a brother Denver Beckner. Patricia is survived by two daughters: Mica Linn Boso Van Fossen of PA., and Linda Ann Boso of St. Clairsville; brother: Charles (JoAnn) Beckner of Fla.; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, and also 10 "" until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 31, 2013, with Rev. Donna Kraus, officiating. DAR Memorial Services at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
